Psychotic Diablo is a dietary supplement marketed as an intense weight loss thermo product. It is created by Insane Labz, which is known for producing a variety of supplements with dramatic names and images inspired by slasher-style horror movies.

For instance, beyond “Psychotic Diablo” (which features an image of a killer demon clown that might remind you of a certain character from a Stephen King novel), there is also “Insane Veinz”, which features an image of a Jason-style hockey mask, and “Insane Cutz”, which has an image of a murderous maid wearing clown makeup and the slogan, “murder your fat cells.”

While Insane Labz has certainly gone above and beyond in regard to its horror-themed marketing, this doesn’t mean that Psychotic Diablo can deliver powerful fat burning that will result in practical, healthy and safe weight loss.

Psychotic Diablo – A Hellish Formula

The Psychotic Diablo ingredients have been combined to create a Psychotic Diablo Blend. This blend includes:

  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • AMPiberry
  • Theobromine Anhydrous
  • Dandelion Root Extract
  • Grains of Paradise
  • OxyGold
  • Rauwolfia Vomitoria Extract

The manufacturer claims that caffeine, theobromine, dandelion root and grains of paradise are clinically proven ingredients, providing unparalleled fat burning and energy benefits. While research supports the hypothesis that fat loss with aerobic exercise can be enhanced with the presence of caffeine, this substance, along with the others listed above, has never been clinically proven effective for weight loss.

What’s more, Insane Labz claims that dandelion root is a fat burner with energy benefits. However, dandelion root is a diuretic. This means that it increases the frequency of urination, reducing excess water buildup in the body. This has nothing to do with fat burning. In fact, any quick weight loss that you might notice from taking Psychotic Diablo will likely be due to the loss of water weight and not actual fat loss. Water weight will return. Calling dandelion root a fat burner is very misleading and a sneaky tactic on the manufacturer’s part.

High Caffeine Content

It might not come as much of a surprise that Psychotic Diablo has high caffeine content, 300 mg per 1 capsule serving. However, the manufacturer has not listed directions for the suggested use of this product. That said, if the dosage is to take two capsules daily (e.g. once in the morning and once in the early afternoon) as is common with many fat burners and thermogenic diet pills, this would mean 600 mg of caffeine daily.

Considering up to 400 mg of caffeine per day is recognized as being generally safe for most healthy adults, 600 mg is excessive. Still, even if only 1 serving is taken in a day, 300 mg is still a significant amount, especially if the user consumes any other caffeinated foods or beverages along with this diet pill.

The higher the caffeine content, the greater the risk of unpleasant side effects, such as:

  • Jitters
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Restlessness
  • Mood changes
  • Headache
  • Upset stomach
  • Rapid heartbeat

While it would likely be in your best interest to avoid taking Psychotic Diablo, speak with your healthcare provider if you should decide to try it.
