Real Deal ECA Stack is a weight loss supplement from the manufacturer called Sports One. At the time that this review was written, the ingredients list from this product claimed that the product continues to include ephedra among its ingredients, despite the fact that it is currently banned in the United States.

The package of the product claims that these pills are the “full ECA Stack. Ephedra, Caffeine, and Asparin stack” which have been combined to their ideal balance of ECA so that fat burning will occur at the optimal levels. That said, this combination makes the pill completely illegal to manufacture, sell, or purchase in the U.S. as the FDA has banned ephedra from any weight loss and fat burning products in any amount.

In this product, the ephedra is found within the ma huang leaf extract (though it is noted that this ingredient does not include any ephedrine alkaloids, in the nutrition table). The rest of the ingredients include caffeine, white willow bark (the aspirin to which they referred in another part of the package), green tea extract, hoodia extract, and yohimbine extract. One glance at this list of ingredients should have any dieter turning the other way and running – fast!

The majority of the ingredients in this list are based on stimulants – not to mention the fact that the top one is completely illegal. That level of stimulant supplementation into the body will almost certainly generate unwanted side effects such as anxiety, nervousness, shakes, jitters, nausea, headaches, constipation, dry mouth, and others. This can cause a great deal of discomfort, particularly when combined with the possible ephedra side effects, which – for at least one person – included death.

The instructions recommend that two capsules be taken once or twice per day with meals and that best results are achieved when combined with exercise and a reduced fat diet.

Companies selling this product to consumers in the United States and a range of other countries in which ephedra is banned risk being fined a considerable amount of money. The same can be said about consumers who choose to purchase these illegal products. As this is a banned substance, despite the fact that it is still being manufactured and sold, it is impossible to recommend it on any level. Particularly as the typical ECA stack that once used ephedra when it was legal was using 25 mg of the substance, and Real Deal ECA stack claims that it contains 50 mg.
