Rev Burn is a nonprescription diet pill from Rev Labs. Marketed as a thermogenic fat burner, Rev Burn promises to increase energy and endurance, appetite suppression and control, and support metabolic optimization.

The supposed “science” behind Rev Lab’s Rev Burn is that this dietary supplement has been formulated to function as a dual action fat burning formula, which includes energy replenishment and rapid burning of excessive calories.

More specifically, it claims to boost energy levels by ramping up the body’s metabolic process naturally, turning it into a fat burning machine through the rapid incineration of excessive calories. It also claims to boost muscle building by increasing athletic stamina and endurance, helping to transform excessive fat pockets into lean muscle gain. Additionally, it claims to inhibit fat synthesis, by not only assisting the body in burning fat, but keeping its thermogenic processes at their best, which helps to convert excess carbs into energy, preventing fat formation.

When this Rev Burn review was written, the formula was composed of three different blends: Energy and Focus Blend (Caffeine, Phenylethylamine HCl, Glucomannan, Fursultiamine, L-Tyrosine), Thermogenesis Blend (Green Tea Extract, Raspberry Ketones, Yohimbe Bark), Lipogenic Blend (Kola Nut, L-Carnitine).

The suggested use is to take 1 capsule in the morning. Users are cautioned not to exceed more than 2 capsules per day. They are also cautioned not to take Rev Burn after 4 pm and not to take it for longer than 8 weeks in a row. If after 8 weeks of use a user would like to continue taking Rev Burn, they should go off it for 2 weeks before resuming use.

The reason users are cautioned not to take Rev Burn after 4 pm is this diet pill contains stimulants. More specifically, it contains caffeine, phenylethylamine HCl, yohimbe, and kola nut. It is important to know this because stimulants are linked to certain unwanted side effects, such as jitters, sleeplessness, restlessness, anxiety, upset stomach, headache, and rapid heartbeat, among other unpleasant effects.

While not everyone will experience these effects, the risk of negative stimulant-related side effects can increase if you are sensitive to these ingredients or if you take Rev Burn in combination with other foods or beverages that contain stimulants (e.g. coffee, cola, energy drinks, etc.).

While there is no clinical proof to back up any of the claims made about Rev Burn and no evidence that it is beneficial for weight loss, be advised that it has been designed for healthy adults. As such, you should speak with your healthcare provider before taking this product, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition and/or are currently taking any medications or supplements to treat a health condition.
